In a short time, founders Jordyn Jackson and Taylor Jackson have significantly impacted the lives of children. Their first international visit to Tahiti exemplified their ability to extend help beyond the local level.
Soaring Samaritans Youth Movement focuses on providing aid to remote locations that rarely receive assistance. Their goal is to make a meaningful impact in areas where help is scarce.
During their visit to villages on Pago Pago Island and Morea Island, the sisters emphasized that their mission was not just about distributing soccer balls, but about teaching children the concept of "Paying It Forward." As part of the KIK Program (Kids Inspiring Kids), which they developed, Jordyn and Taylor shared ideas on how young people can support each other through simple acts of kindness and encouraged the children to expand their personal dreams.
Following their lesson, the kids were divided into groups, and Jordyn and Taylor joined them in playing soccer at the local soccer center. Noticing a lack of female participation, they took the opportunity to inspire young girls to form all-girl soccer teams, promoting gender inclusivity in the sport. The sisters also brainstormed with the children on how they could make a positive impact in their own villages through available opportunities.
Soaring Samaritans Youth Movement organized the first-ever fundraising gala for the UCLA Men’s and Women’s Soccer Program. This event was created to support the coaches' vision of a soccer-specific facility by raising funds for a major field renovation.
The organization managed all aspects of the gala, including coordinating donors, securing high-profile speakers, organizing auction fundraising, and gathering sports memorabilia. These efforts helped generate momentum, leading to the formation of a UCLA staff committee, involvement from alumni, and engagement from dedicated donors to continue fundraising for the university's field needs.
Whether working on large or small projects, Soaring Samaritans Youth Movement is committed to partnering with worthy causes to turn dreams into reality. Our focus is on paying it forward and helping athletic and educational programs achieve new heights.
